D-Link DWR-921-LTE-Router

As I had in the past other D-link products, I thought it is a good idea to consider a wireless router as well. A quick search on internet on reviews, indeed told is is decent value for money. I did some price comparison and and bought one. As well I checked some of the local operators and tried some of them. Note: Some of the operators here in Finland give you a trial subscription. Meaning. Try it out, if the connectivity at your home works OK. If not, and you can cancel and return it free of charge.

So, I tried it out and set it up. It was fairly straight forward as you would expect of any product. It seemed to work quite well out of the Box. I right away changed the default passwords and other default settings. (as you should do always!) Some days went by, and I found it already suspicious that my service reported internet disconnect occasionally. Further troubleshooting this over a period of time, I found out that without any specific reason, internet connectivity disappeared. Really. The device is connected to the 4G/LTE network, but no traffic goes through. It may reset by itself and starts working again after some time, but usually requires a hard reset. As I became aware of this, I researched the problem and seems to be a common know issue with this device. BAD choice… So, one thing left to do, buy another one…  which I did, I bought the Huawei B593s-22
